While political and security problems among OPEC members have led to caution across markets, the outlook for non-OPEC production is increasingly bullish, notwithstanding operational problems at specifc felds that are causing unplanned outages. Non-OPEC supply was hit hard in 2011 by a series of disruptions across the world caused by everything from foods and strikes, to unplanned maintenance, sabotage and confict.
