Russian rail product exports rise

Rail product exports from Russia rose by 483,000t to 10.8mn t(2.5mn b/d)in January,with shipments of clean products up most sharply thanks to subdued domestic motor fuel demand during the long new year holidays. Rail exports of gasoline grew by 120,000t to a three-year high of 607,000t.Loadings at the Latvian ports of Ventspils and Riga rose by a joint 137,000t to 352,000t.Lukoil shipped 76,000t to Riga,its first gasoline loading there since June.
