Counting on LPG

Rail exports of crude, products and LPG from Russia and Kazakhstan through the Ukrainian port of Odessa slumped by almost 75pc on the year to 1.14mn t in January-June. Kazakhstan's biggest crude producer, the Chevron-led Ten- gizchevroil (TCO) consortium, diverted crude to Russia's new terminal at the Black Sea port of Taman, while new loading capacity in Russia drew away fuel oil. Only LPG loading operations rose.
