Refinery runs slip

Global crude runs are at their lowest level in six months as US turnarounds extend well into the second quarter.US crude runs were only just over 15mn b/d at the end of last month,400,000 b/d down on end-April levels in the previous three years.Maintenance has been particularly prolonged this year because of new specifications for gasoline and on-road diesel,and the continuing aftereffects of hurricanes last year.
