A protest by youths at a crude hub in the Niger delta from 10 May cut supplies to Nigeria's key Bonny Light export terminal. The youths occupied the holding area, preventing shipments along the Trans-Niger pipeline to the terminal. The move shut in 137,000 b/d of Shell-operated crude and 33,000 b/d of other companies' production. Shell declared force majeure on exports on 15 May.
