Asia-Pacific is gaining fresh supplies of lighter crude as new fields start up in the Middle East and Russia.Mideast Gulf production of lighter crude will rise by around 500,000 b/d by the second quarter,helped by new output from Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi.State-owned Adnoc expanded production of Abu Dhabi's light Murban crude by 100,000 b/d in December and is due to add another 100,000 b/d in April-May,increasing Murban output to 1.4mn b/d.
