Mideast Gulf eastbound exports fall

Mideast Gulf fuel oil exports to Asia-Pacific are falling because of rising bunker fuel and domestic power demand, and a regional natural gas shortfall. Iran's eastbound fuel oil exports were 25pc lower last year than in 2005, while Saudi Aramco's fell by 22pc and Kuwait's by nearly lOpc (see table).
