Venezuela has stopped delivering mostly light sweet crude to its close ally Cuba, forcing the island to look for alternatives. Venezuelan state-owned PdVs crude and products shipments to Cuba have fallen to a contractual minimum of 53,000 b/d this year, down from closer to 80,000 b/d last year. Light crude shipments account for a 'very significant part' of the reduction, an energy ministry official says.
