Prices rose slightly for most products in response to largely firmer regional crude.But demand is weak,with buyers well covered ahead of refinery turnarounds.Chinese demand,which has long been the driving force,kept easing as prices are high and prompt requirements are being satisfied.Stronger crude and a wide-open arbitrage from Asia-Pacific to the Mideast Gulf saw gasoline prices soar.Up to 150,000t of mid-octane gasoline is to move in June from Singapore and China to Iran.Strong prices there have encouraged Chinese refiners to offer cargoes,even though they are heading into partial turnarounds this month.
