Margins spike

Gasoline margins neared $30/bl for only the second time in the past four years, but have since fallen sharply, after gasoline quality specifications in the region were light- ened. But diesel margins remain close to $25/bl — their highest since September 2008, when Hurricanes Gustav and Ike hit the Gulf coast.
