Refnery shutdowns and falling stocks buoyed gasoline on the Gulf coast, while vacuum gasoil (VGO) came under pressure from abundant supplies. A 1.6mn bl stockdraw boosted Gulf coast gasoline by up to 9￠/USG. The onset of refnery maintenance took catalytic cracking capacity off line, while unplanned disruptions following heavy rains compounded the outages.
