Tunisian National Oil Company Says Nine Oil and Gas Discoveries Have Been Made in 2010

In his speech to the North Africa Oil & Gas Summit in Vienna, the Chairman of the Entreprise Tunisienne d'Activites Petrolieres (ETAP), Mr. Khaled Becheikh, announced that nine hydrocarbon discoveries had been made in his country since the beginning of 2010. Six of them were of natural gas, including four of both gas and condensate, two of oil, and one of oil and gas. In the case of one of these finds, made with the Lambouka-1 well drilled by Audax on the Kerkouane tract, the operator is in the process of analyzing well logs.
