Chergui Field Expected to Produce 20 Million Cu Ft/Day of Gas for at Least Four Years

The Chergui gas and condensate field,which was brought into production from two wells at the beginning of August,should maintain a production plateau of 20 million cu ft/day of natural gas over a period of four years at least,according to the operator,Petrofac Enery Developments,part of the Petrofac group.The company added that future development opportunities could enable the production plateau to be prolonged.The field cost a total of around 100 million to develop.
