Abu sir-2X appraisal well conffirms the size of the offshore field discovered by apache

Apache Corporation announced on 4 March that its appraisal well had effectively confirmed its Abu Sir deep-water discovery on the West Mediteranean (West Med) tract.The Abu Sir-2X well,drilled in 3,373 feet of water,was taken down to a total depth of 13,162 feet and penetrated hydrocarbonbearing intervals in both the Pliocene and Miocene sands.
