AgBiome/Ginkgo sign deal on biological products development

US agricultural biotechnology company AgBiome (Research Triangle Park, California) has agreed a deal with US synthetic biology company Ginkgo Bioworks (Boston, Massachusetts) to optimize the performance of products in its agricultural biologicals pipeline. AgBiome seeks to develop products based on improved live microbial strains through Ginkgo’s “ultra-high” throughput encapsulated screening capabilities.
