ICAR/Bayer partner for IPM on Indian pomegranates

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has agreed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Bayer’s Crop Science division. The partners will focus on the development of an integrated disease and insect pest management (IDIPM) schedule for the production of pomegranates intended for export to the EU and the US. It includes the development of a model pomegranate orchard at the ICAR-National Research Centre on Pomegranate in Solapur, state of Maharashtra.
