PHC/Novozymes partner in India for biostimulant distribution

The US-based, UK-listed bioproducts company, Plant Health Care (PHC – Raleigh, North Carolina), has forged a distribution agreement with Danish biotechnology company Novozymes’ (Copenhagen) Asian subsidiary, Novozymes South Asia (Bengaluru). The deal involves the distribution of PHC’s biostimulant, Harpin αβ, in India for use on sugar cane. The partners explain that the product works by triggering the plant’s own defence systems, leading to enhanced crop quality, nutrient use eiciency, and tolerance to abiotic stress.
