Outlook 2023: US organic industry eyes improved enforcement and backing from Biden

US organic ag and food interests received unprecedented support from the White House and USDA in 2022 and are hopeful for more of the same in 2023. Stakeholders are keen for USDA to finalize rules aimed at boosting enforcement of the organic standards, improving animal welfare regulations and providing more funding to help boost organic production.
