28th International ATS Steelmaking Conference

摘要

As usual, this Conference took place in Paris, at Hotel Meridien on December 13th and 14th .It was the 28th Conference with : about 700 delegates, from 31 countries, nearly 130 presentations (see the table 1), in 20 sessions, and an important exhibition with 27 participants. The technical presentations can be sub divided, as indicated on the table 1 in the following five categories : upstream operations, before steelmaking which is, in fact, the heart of the steel plant, the steelmaking processes, including secondary metallurgy and casting, downstream operations, i.e. rolling and coating, the important topics of energy and environment, and a special and important category of contributions devoted to the use of steel.
