The disaster in New York has dented confidence throughout the United States. This is an understandable response. Almost everyone in the world can feel the personal tragedies affecting the population. However, the enormity of the physical damage has not yet been fully expressed.For those of us who have spent time in those buildings, it is almost impossible to believe that they could be destroyed in such a short period of time. Moreover, it took just ten men two hours to do it. When looking at the twin towers one could only wonder what a mammoth task it would have been to take them down after they had served their useful life.
