National Mineral Resources Agency Issues a Tender for the Conduct of Airborne Geophysical Surveys Over Five Tracts

Algeria is pushing ahead with its efforts to derive more value from its mineral resources, which are significant even though their potential can obviously not be compared with that of the country's hydrocarbon wealth. As with the energy sector, new bodies have been created, such as the Agence Nationale du Patrimoine Minier (ANPM - National Mineral Resources Agency). The ANPM, which is attached to the Ministry of Energy and Mines, has issued an international tender (No. 05/2009) for the conduct of airborne geophysical surveys over five tracts (see map below). The closing date for bids is 2 November 2009, between 8.00 and 10.00 am.
