INA and RWE Dea Report a Fresh Oil Discovery on the East Yidma Tract in the Western Desert

INA-Naftaplin,operator with a 50% interest,and RWE Dea (50%) have struck oil on the East Yidma concession in the Alamein sub-basin of the Western Desert.Drilled to a depth of 4,384 meters (14,382 feet) to test Cretaceous sandstone and carbonate formations,as well as deeper Jurassic sands,discovery well Sidi Rahman-1X is the first to have encountered oil on this tract.
