Takreer Finalizes Construction Contract Awarded to Samsung Engineering for Carbon Black and Deferred Coking Facilities

Abu Dhabi Oil Refining Company (Takreer), a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), has finalized the EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) contract it awarded in July to the South Korean company Samsung Engineering for the installation of carbon black and deferred coking (CBDC) facilities in the Ruwais refinery. The contract is worth an estimated $3.48 billion (AOG, 1 July).
