Eight of the 20 Exploration Tracts Offered by EGAS and Ganope This Year Have Already Been Awarded

The 2006 international exploration bid round launched by the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) and Ganoub El Wadi Holding Company (Ganope) early this year,in which 20 onshore and offshore blocks were offered (12 by EGAS and eight by Ganope),attracted bids from 50 companies,the Oil Ministry disclosed in September.
