LIBYA Oil Production Capacity To Be Doubled By 2015

Since sanctions were lifted in 2003-04,Libya has seen its political and economic relations with the outside world return to normal,as well as starting to feel the benefit of a greater inflow of foreign direct investment,especially into the oil and gas sector.It has also been able to embark on a comprehensive economic reform process aimed at accelerating the transition to a market economy,reducing the weight of the public sector and encouraging private investment,both domestic and foreign.
