Dana Gas Approves Five-Year Growth Plan on the Basis of Successes in Egypt and Iraqi Kurdistan

Dana Gas, which is based in the emirate of Sharjah, has announced that its board of directors has approved a five-year growth plan based on new discoveries the company has made in Egypt and on a 50% increase in its natural gas production in both Egypt and Iraqi Kurdistan. This plan combines investments in new acquisitions with organic growth through exploration, development and an increase in production. The company made this announcement on the occasion of a visit by its management to the El Wastani gas field and the integrated gas plant at Damietta, in Egypt. The El Wastani plant currently processes 150 million cu ft/day of gas, over 3,500 b/d of condensate and about 1,900 b/d of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). It consists of a manifold for gathering natural gas, a gas and condensate separation train, and gas processing, condensate stabilization and liquefied petroleum gas recovery units.
