Retroactive Price of Qatar Land Raised by $6.25/Barrel to $119.55/B for February Liftings

On 7 March Qatar Petroleum (QP) announced the retroactive prices for February liftings of the two crudes it exports under term contracts. Like Abu Dhabi, Qatar followed last month's market trends and raised the prices of its two crudes by $6.20-6.25/barrel. Qatar Land thus went up to $119.55/b from $113.30/b in January and Qatar Marine to $118.40/b from $112.20/b before. They are thus approaching the high point of 2011, which was attained in April, when Qatar Land was priced at $119.80/b and Qatar Marine at $117/b.
