Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company Raises Credit Facilities of 6 Billion Over 15 Years

In a notice to the Saudi stock exchange (Tadawul),Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company (Saudi Kayan) disclosed that it had signed an agreement with banks and financial institutions for credit facilities totaling 6 billion over 15 years to part-finance the development of its complex in Jubail.The project is expected to cost some 10 billion altogether (AOG,16 May,2008).BNP Paribas,Arab Banking Corporation (ABC) and Samba Financial Group advised Saudi Kayan in the arrangement of this funding package.
