Project checks biofuel emissions

? A project for testing the potential and problems of biofuels is being undertaken by Maersk Line and the US Navy. As part of the project, WR-Systems is supplying its Emsys laser-based emissions monitoring system to verify emissions for fuel trials on board the Maersk Kalmar. After successful trial installations on two US-based Maersk container vessels, Maersk chose Emsys to prove system efficacy and aid the type-approval process under the supervision of ABS.
