Turku yard gets second TUI cruise ship

Tui Cruises last month confirmed the order of a second cruise ship from STX Finland. Building will start in mid-2013 and delivery will be from STX Finland's Turku Shipyard in early 2015. The 99,300gt cruise ship will be 294m long and 36m in beam. It will feature 1,250 staterooms, serve 2,500 passengers, and have a crew of 1,000. According to TUI, particular emphasis will be placed on the vessel's energy efficiency.
