The latest data for Chinese bar and rod exports shows that last year illustrated a continued the burgeoning in volumes, following the huge increases witnessed already in 2014. Volumes grew 45 in the year-to-November, compared to the 74 increase witnessed through the same period in the year-to-November 2014 vs. 2013. In comparison, overall Chinese steel exports increased by 25, which has meant that the proportion of bar, rod and billet in overall steel exports has increased to an average of 38 in the year-to-November 2015, relative to the 33 level in the in the year to November 2014.
