Japanese firm to build biomass plant

Tokyo-based firm Takeei is set to build a 6MW waste wood- fired biomass plant in Japan’s Iwate prefecture. The￥3bn plant will burn around 30,000 t/yr of local waste wood. Construction will start in the first quarter of next year and will take approximately 12 months.
