PLANTING MASONRY CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR FIRMLY BUILDING A MASONRY RETAINING WALL WITHOUT USING CONCRETE FILLER AND INCREASING ACCESSIBILITY WITH THE SOIL FOR PLANTING TREES
PURPOSE: A planting masonry construction method is provided to supply environmental-friendly surroundings by planting various trees on each layered portion of a retaining wall, to shorten the construction process, and to increase firmness. CONSTITUTION: A method for constructing a masonry retaining wall on a banking area(S) formed on the slope of the cut ground or a levee of a sea wall is composed of steps for forming a base(10) to be buried at the proper depth from the ground to disperse and hold load of the masonry retaining wall to be built on the bottom side of the banking area; piling up flat kenchi-stones(20) on the surface of the base in a spot separated from slope(S') of the banking area at the predetermined gap at the same or similar to the gradient of the slope; filling a space formed between the slopes of the banking area facing the kenchi-stone with a filler(30) composed of pebbles, charcoal, and earthworm casts up to the position to level with the kenchi-stone; fixing the other end of an anchor member(40) of which one end is fixed to the filler, to prevent the kenchi-stone from being pushed back; piling one layer of the kenchi-stone on the upside of the pre-built kenchi-stone at the gradient same as the kenchi-stone of a lower layer with holding a gap(G) for planting trees; and covering the upside of the uppermost layer with a concrete panel after building the kenchi-stone at the desirable height.
