Europe: Antimony hits 22-month high

Antimony prices rose sharply today on soaring Chinese export prices, logistical challenges and high freight rates. Cadmium prices edged up on higher demand from India and indium rose slightly on expectations of higher prices in the run-up to lunar new year holidays next month. Across the other electronic metals, prices for tellurium, selenium, bismuth, gallium and germanium were flat. Meanwhile, manganese flake continued to rise despite China's price rally taking a pause, but prices for rhenium pellets dropped amid sluggish demand and competitively-priced Chinese material.
