Evergreen has signed an agreement which appears to hand over the management of Taranto Container Terminal SPA (TCT) to Hutchison Port Holdings (HPH). The deal is understood to be included in a confirmed share swap with HPH's Delta Container Terminal (DCT) in Rotterdam. No further details have been revealed, but HPH's share of TCT is reported to be around 50%, and Evergreen's share of DCT is rumoured to be approximately 5%. It is not yet clear when HPH will become involved in the day-to-day management of TCT.
