Urea prices shot higher this week, with increases of $80-135/ t in every geography that Argus covers, as the supply-driven bull run continued. India secured 720,000t of urea at $665.50/t cfr east coast but, perhaps unwisely, balked at paying $714/t cfr for the west coast. Prices have since risen dramatically and are likely to be considerably higher in its next tender.
