Australia – sales remain high in 2017:Asia

Urea sales in Australia totalled 2.1mn t in 2017, largely in line with the record high a year earlier. Fertilizer Australia's preliminary 2017 figure highlights the need to replace nitrogen after good harvests and favourable growing conditions across parts of the country during the year. It is the second-highest sales figure since its statistics began in 2002 and less than 1pc below the 2016 record high.
