Zhejiang PC starts construction of integrated complex.

Zhejiang Petrochemical has begun construction of the first phase of its integrated refinery and petrochemical plant on Zhoushan island, near Shanghai in Zhejiang province, China's Xinhua news service reported. The project's first phase will consist of a 400K-b/d refinery and a 1.4MM-mt/y ethylene plant, while the second phase will double those capacities. Xinhua did not report when the project is schedule to be complete, though Reuters said back in 2016 that the plant should be up and running by 2020.
