Endometrialpolyp throughout vagina: a case treated with carbon dioxide hysteroscopy

摘要

Endometrial polyps are tumors of the endome-trium which were attached to the endometrium with pedincules with various sizes and rarely reach the cervix and vagina. These are common in perimenopauseal period and hemorrhage is the most common symptom seen in patients. Dilatation and curertage is the is the preferred method for the management of these tumors but probe curettage may not be suitable for identification of these lesions which have a hemorrhage rate of 10-35 %.
