Azerbaijan eyes output boost

Azerbaijan plans to produce 52.5 million mt (1.08 million b/d) of crude oil and 28.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas in 2010, Azeri Prime Minister Artur Rasizadeh was quoted as saying January 15 by the state news agency. Rasizadeh was speaking at an international energy conference in Batumi, Georgia. "In 2010 we plan to produce 52.5 million mt of oil and 28.5 billion cubic meters of gas," he said.
