Antracit Repair and Engineering Works dates back to 1921 when it was established as the Central Electromechanical Workshops on the territory of pre-revolutionary workshops belonging to the former mine owner. The enterprise is primarily engaged in repairs of mining equipment exploited by Bokovo-Antracit Mine Department. In bygone days, the enterprise was notable for its constant development. Its territory stably augmented while the volumes of manufacturing output featured distinct upward tendency. The enterprise f formed six main manufacturing departments and five auxiliary workshops employing more than 460 individuals.
