US 232 on Car Ops for Tariffs on AV and EV

The Inside US Trade delivered that the US Commerce has proposed three options to resolve the problems facing the domestic automobile industry to get through injury allegedly by the car import surge. first option is to impose 20~25 percent tariffs on all scope of automobiles and their components alike. The second is to restrict foreign access of the future vehicles(ACES) technologies like automated, connected and electric vehicles technologies to the domestic market, all while imposing tariffs. The final option is known to impose tariffs available for the adoptions which weighs mediolateral tariffs between the first option of across-the-board tariffs and the second one limiting to ACES alone.
