Zeon to Boost Production Capacity for Zetpol HNBR

Zeon Corp. (TYO:4205) announced on March 24 that it has decided to increase its Takaoka Plant’s production capacity for Zetpol hydrogenated nitrile rubber (HNBR). By removing bottlenecks at the plant, the company expects to boost annual production capacity here by around 10 percent – or approximately 400 tons – between now and 2023. This is then set to bring the Zeon Group’s total HNBR production capacity up to about 10,000 tons per year.
