Nihon Nohyaku’s H1 agchem sales up 14%

Nihon Nohyaku clocked a 13.9% increase in agrochemical sales to ￥29,273 million ($256.7 million at the current rate) for the six months ended September 30th 2021. Agrochemicals accounted for 91.7% (88.5% in last year’s corresponding period) of the company’s total revenues. The agrochemical segment’s operating profit for the period climbed by some 35% to settle at ￥1,203 million ($10.6 million).
