Our Q3 survey reveals dealers' top challenges and their forecasts for the months ahead. You can't sell what you don't have. It's the age-old sales concern, and most OPE dealers would agree that it's never been more accurate than right now. As Q3 2021 wound down, we surveyed more than 100 OPE dealers to get their thoughts on how the constricted supply chain is hampering their sales efforts - as well as the general state of their businesses, how they see Q4 (and 2022) playing out, what their primary concerns are, and much more. A majority of the dealers who responded are owners or principals of independent OPE dealerships, and nearly all are owners of single-location dealerships. All regions of the country-Midwest, Northeast, South and West-were represented.
