Rallis’ Q1 agchem sales up 18%

Rallis India registered a 17.5% increase in sales at its Crop Care division, comprising agrochemicals, to Rs 4,710 million ($63.3 million at the current rate) for its first quarter ended June 30th. The seeds business accounted for sales of Rs 2,690 million ($36.2 million), marking an increase of 3.1% over the corresponding period last year. Consolidated sales for quarter improved by 11.8% to Rs 7,410 million ($99.6 million).
