VDW concerned about poor earnings in 2013

As private consumption went up in Germany last year, the sales performance recorded by the country's corrugated board industry was good in 2013. Analysing their sales volume on a working-day basis, the members of German association of the corrugated board manufacturing industry (Verband der Wellpappen-Industrie, VDW) increased their volume by 2.1%, exceeding the level of GDP growth by 1.7 percentage points last year.
