Peterson Packaging restructures Danish operations

Norway's packaging group Peterson Packaging is investing tens of millions of krone in developing its Danish production network. The company has announced that it will close its mill in Naestved by this summer and transfer operations to its Randers mill near Aarhus. The group is also preparing to make further investments in Randers. "We had two mills and surplus capacity in Denmark," said Peterson Packaging's CEO Ketil Stave, commenting on the reasons for restructuring."We can tap into substantial cost synergies by merging the mills. We will also significantly increase our printing capacity in Randers."
