For October, GI sales volume leaped a year ago, with domestic consumption let alone export leaning toward recovery. Based on the survey conducted by the S&M Media, domestic major CR producers sold a total of 570,940 tons in October, rising 5.1 percent a year ago of 543,000 tons. Of which, domestic shipment increased 8.4 percent to 309,800 tons and export rose 1.5 percent to 261,140 tons respectively, while the former downed 30.9 percent on month but the latter soared 21.6 percent.
