CHINA: Yunnan Xinli & Nanjing Titanium Boost TiCh Exports via G & J Resources

G & J Resources(based in Markham,about 30 km north of Toronto)is the exclusive worldwide distributor for chloride-route T1O2 pigments produced by Yunnan Xinli and for sulfate-route Ti02 pigments produced by Nanjing Titanium Dioxide Co.In its recent newsletters,G & J Resources reports that the ultimate ownership of Yunnan Xinli is about to change.The parent company-Yunnan Metallurgical(owned by the Yunnan provincial government)-is pooling its entire assets into a joint venture,which will be owned 58% by Aluminium Corp.of China(Chinalco)and 42% by the Yunnan provincial government.Effective control of Yunnan Xinli will pass from the provincial government to the Central Government,in the shape of the Beijing-based State-owned Assets Supervision & Administration Commission.
